Strings and messages configuration

.
  Document revision: 2024-05-27
Refers to JDLG version: 2.0.18

JDLG versions 2.0.0 or newer allow to customize and/or to localize the embedded text strings and messages. This includes the titles and menus of the JDLG console window and subwindows, including the login dialog, as well as program messages.

The eloquence.config.strings configuration property allows to specify a text file defining customized and/or localized strings and messages using the Java property syntax.

The text file must use the ISO 8859-1 character encoding. In addition, the \n (newline) and \uHHHH (Unicode character) escape sequences are supported.
