Release Notes
The complete Eloquence documentation is included in the A.06.00
distribution or available via ftp. Printed documentation can be ordered
as an additional option. The documentation is available in
two different formats:
- HTML format: This is used for on-line reference through the HP
Eloquence IDE and can be viewed using any Web browser providing frames,
such as Netscape Navigator 2.0. The IDE's built-in on-line help function
requires the Netscape Navigator 3.0 or above.
- PDF Format: PDF files are created from the Postscript print files
and provide an exact image of the printed documentation.
They can be viewed or printed with the Adobe Acrobat reader, which is
available free on almost all platforms.
The Acrobat Reader is included in the Eloquence distribution or can be
downloaded from the
Adobe Web site.
In addition, a Netscape plugin is available, so PDF documents can be
viewed inside your favourite Web browser.
We recommend to install the Eloquence documentation on a central
Web server instead of deploying it on each workstation. The documentation
could then easily accessed with a web browser. This is also possible with
the PDF files, since the Acrobat Reader is also available as a
Netscape or Microsoft IE4 plugin (the Acrobat plugin is included on the
CD-ROM media).
