DLG statements return error 1653 on Windows platform
Eloquence on the Windows platform does not support character
based dialogs (ASCII dlg).
All DLG statements fail with error 1653 unless a
DLG SET ".driver",... is active.
The error number 1653 is undocumented and will likely be changed
in a subsequent release.
