Why doesn't the graphical development environment support line numbers?
Line numbers are still fully supported (and functional) with
Eloquence A.06.xx. However we intend to make them obsolete in the future
releases because they have become a limiting factor for Eloquence.
This will not affect existing programs, however line numbers may no
longer be unique in subsequent releases when you intend to use
new features.
Since the graphical development is a new functionality (and does not
affect backwards compatibility) and line numbers are not useful in the
IDE anyway, we made them an error.
A script is available on the ftp server which is intended to help
you replace line number references in a program with labels
