What means ERROR VOLE017?
An VOLE17 error is returned, when a database volume is opened that
is already in use. This would happen for example, when the eloqdb6
database server is started more than once and its made exactly
to guard against this kind of situation. It is usually accompanied
by a message like below:
V0: failed to open volume: volume file is locked
(/opt/tmp/db/mm01.vol)
The same holds true if a database volume utility such as dbvolextend,
dbvolchange or dbvoldump is used on an active database environment.
