Q:
The Eloquence database server does not start.
The following message is in the syslog:
eloqdb[22929]: A LOG volume is required for server operation.
eloqdb[22929]: Eloquence database server terminating
Any idea what I need to do to create a LOG volume?
A:
The Eloquence database server needs a transaction
volume for regular operation.
It is created with the dbvolextend utility.
dbvolextend -t log /path/volume02.vol
