Title: | Linux: fsync() returning EIO resulting in eloqdb6 panic |

Linux kernels before 2.2.14 could return a wrong
EIO (I/O error) code as a return to a fsync() operation
which causes the eloqdb6 process to panic.
This problem is rare but can happen if you are
using the eloqdb6 sync I/O option.
Probably all Linux kernel versions before 2.2.14 are affected.
Your options are either upgrading to kernel 2.2.14 (or above),
disabling the eloqdb6 sync I/O mode or installing a kernel patch
(see below for more information).
