Selecting Text
You can select lines and multiple lines of text to cut, copy, delete,
indent, and unindent.
Most of the usual cursor movement commands can be used to extend a
selection by holding down the SHIFT key simultaneously.
For example SHIFT+LEFT ARROW will select the previous character.
To select a line of text
- In the selection margin, point to the beginning of the text you
want to select and click the left mouse button.
To select multiple lines of text
- In the selection margin, point to the beginning of the text you want to select.
- Drag either up or down to select the lines of text.
