Eloquence version B.08.00 was released in December 2008.

Patches for the Eloquence B.08.00 release provide defect fixes
and may also add improved functionality and performance.
Eloquence patch bundles combine the recommended patches for various
Eloquence product components in a single archive and simplify
installation and product maintenance.

NOTE:
Installing a patch bundle will overwrite any conflicting files that
were installed by a superseding patch. Any newer patches must be
re-installed after installing the patch bundle.

This patch adds enhancements and fixes defects of the database server.
Severity: BUG FIX, ENHANCEMENT
New functionality:
- The dbctl list output supports filter expressions and may display the number of matching entries.
Critical fixes:
- During an automatic forward-log file switch it could happen in rare
cases that transactions were not written to the forward-log (#3694).
- Renaming a database could cause the database server process to abort (#3704).
- Internal memory leaks were fixed (#3708, #3785).
- The database server could hang due to an internal deadlock (#3739).
- The database server could fail to start with an inconsistent generation count error message (#3777).
- In rare cases the buffer cache could fail to write a page modification to disk,
resulting in an incorrect free-list page link/pointer (#3853).
- The database server could abort after an overflow of an internal counter variable (#3875).
- Searching an index could cause the database server to abort (#3879, #3880).
