HP ELOQUENCE A.06.20 - patch 9902230

This patch fixes a problem for the Linux platform with libc6 (glibc).
This patch will be integrated in a subsequent HP Eloquence release.
A.06.20 must be installed before applying this patch.
This patch may _not_ be installed on a Linux system using libc5.

This patch supersedes (beta) patch PE62-9902111. 

In addition patch PE62-9902190 or a later eloqcore patch must
be installed.


Fixed problems:
---------------

Platforms: Linux (libc6)

* Executables fail with __register_frame_info undefined
  
  This was caused by a flaw in the build process which caused the
  __register_frame_info symbol (and others) not built into the 
  executable when linked against libm.so.6.
  This may cause a dynamic linker failure upon invocation.

  This patch is required in order to use HP Eloquence A.06.20
  on Linux libc6 based systems besides SuSE 6.0.


Installation:

UNIX:

In order to install this patch, you need to unpack it with gzip.
Installation requires root privileges.

cd /opt/eloquence6
gzip -dc PE62-9902230-linux-libc6.tar.gz | tar xf -

If you previously installed patch PE62-9902111 (beta) please make sure
that /opt/eloquence6/dll is a directory and remove a possibly existing 
file /opt/eloquence6/dll/dll.
