The Eloquence IMAGE3K Mailing List is intended to discuss
the Eloquence TurboIMAGE compatibility.
This list was formed to encourage communication among image3k users
and developers. It is focused on the TurboIMAGE compatibility,
IMAGE migration and related topics.
We also appreciate postings related to the availability of tools and
applications with Eloquence.
On topic postings are related to
- Eloquence TurboIMAGE compatibility extension (IMAGE3K)
- Feature comparison between Eloquence and TurboIMAGE/iX
- Problems migrating your application/tool to Eloquence
- How you would like the TurboIMAGE compatibility to evolve
in the future
Please note:
The image3k mailing list is not intended to submit
bug reports.
In case you encounter a problem please use our
Eloquence A.07.00 feeback form to submit a problem report
or send an email message to
support@marxmeier.com.
Of course discussions to analyze a problem and define the correct
behavior are welcome.
The preferred language in this list is English as it is
intended to be available to all users. Other languages are welcome
too, but there may be fewer people who are able to respond to you.
If you subscribed to the mailing list but neither received the
confirmation nor any other message your mail address may be invalid.
Posting
To send a message to the list members, send an email message to
image3k@marxmeier.com.
The list server will then distribute your message to all list members.
The List Server
All routine administrative requests (including subscriptions and
unsubscriptions) concerning this mailing list are handled by an
automated server. The text below explains the basic commands
of the list server.
Subscribing
To subscribe to the image3k list send the following in the body
(not the subject line) of an email message to
Majordomo@marxmeier.com:
subscribe image3k
This will subscribe the account from which you send the message to
the image3k list.
If you wish to subscribe another address instead (such as a local
redistribution list) you can use a command of the form:
subscribe image3k address@your_site.com
This request then gets submitted for approval to the mailing list
administrator.
A digest version of this list is also available. The digest version
groups all messages of a day into a single email message.
To subscribe to the image3k-digest list instead, replace the word of
"image3k" in the commands above with "image3k-digest".
Unsubscribing
To unsubscribe from the image3k list send the following in the body
(not the subject line) of an email message to
Majordomo@marxmeier.com:
unsubscribe image3k
This will unsubscribe the account from which you send the message.
If you are subscribed with some other address, please send
a command of the following form instead:
unsubscribe image3k address@your_site.com
This request then gets submitted for approval to the mailing list
administrator.

To find out more about the automated server and the commands it

Posting
To send a message to the list members, send an email message to
image3k@marxmeier.com.

Please note: In order to get a handle on the SPAM plague posting
is only allowed from accounts subscribed to the image3k list.
Posting from other addresses is rejected. The list administrator may
decide to forward your posting to the list.
